Mackintosh Inn is attached to a quaint Dutch colonial home with a private entrance and covered, off-street parking. The grounds offer several sitting areas among flower, herb and vegetable gardens. Our gardens were selected as one of six to take part in the 2005 Living Arts Garden Tour in Tulsa. One block east of Peoria Avenue, the Inn is within walking distance, or a short drive, from such famous Tulsa restaurants as Café Ole, Garlic Rose, The Grapevine, Monte’s Chop Shop, The Brook, In the Raw, Brookside By Day, Brookside Lao Thai, Delta Café, Ciao, The Bru House, Table Ten, Crow Creek, Alioli Tapas Restaurant & Bar, Charleston’s, Fuji Japanese Cuisine and Sushi Bar and a number of fast-food establishments. You will enjoy breakfast at Brookside By Day, a very popular breakfast and lunch café only two blocks from the Inn. Also within walking distance are the Philbrook Museum of Art (27th and Rockford), Zink Park and Tennis Courts (31st and Trenton) and the Riverparks (many miles of walking, running and bicycle paths). Other areas for relaxation and enjoyment include The Tulsa Garden Center and Rose Garden and Woodward Park. Utica Square, an up-scale shopping center with many additional restaurants and shops, is only a short drive from the Inn (21st and Utica). |
